In the shadow of media silence and global indifference, the people of Balochistan continue to fall victim to oppressive policies. The May 2025 report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group reveals a horrifying picture of mass executions, the killing of fuel porters, arbitrary arrests, and mysterious armed attacks.

Executions  

In the past month, at least 19 Baloch citizens were executed in various Iranian prisons. From April 8 to May 26, 2025, at least 52 Baloch prisoners have been executed in Iranian prisons. This figure covers only 49 days and represents only the reported cases; undoubtedly, the actual number is higher. This is a clear example of an ongoing genocide that continues daily in the silence of the international community.

Fuel Carriers  

In the past month, at least 25 Baloch fuel carriers lost their lives, and 12 fuel carriers were injured. Among the deceased, 8 citizens were killed by direct gunfire from police and Mersad forces, and among the injured, 2 citizens were wounded by Mersad forces.

14 Baloch Killed, 16 Injured by Security Forces in May  

In May 2025, at least 14 Baloch citizens were killed and 16 others injured by Iranian military, police, Mersad, and security forces. Among the 14 killed, 8 were fuel carriers, and among the 16 injured, 2 were fuel carriers. These incidents occurred across various regions of Balochistan.

Abductions by Unknown Armed Individuals  

In May 2025, at least four abductions were reported. Among the victims was a 13-year-old child. One of the abducted individuals was killed by the abductors. Additionally, the sister of one of the abducted individuals was killed by the perpetrators during the abduction.

Arrests in May  

Last month, at least 57 Baloch citizens were arrested by Iran’s security forces and intelligence agents. Among those detained were four undocumented Baloch citizens, including a woman, as well as a 14-year-old child, a mosque imam, and 12 fishermen from Konarak. Additionally, dozens more were arrested in Bandar Kangan and Kulahi, though the exact number remains unclear at this time.

Unidentified Armed Assailants  

In the past month, at least 18 Baloch citizens were killed and 10 others injured as a result of actions by unidentified armed assailants. Based on local evidence and reports, the weapons used by these armed individuals were likely supplied by security sources, including the IRGC.
