According to the Balochistan human rights group
at dawn on Wednesday, the May 28, 2024 , a Baloch prisoner was executed in Khash Prison. He had been transferred to solitary confinement on the 6th of May for carrying out the death sentence on charges of “murder.” His family had their final visit with him the day before the execution.
The executed Baloch prisoner was identified as Ehsan Hossein Zehi a 30-year-old married man with one child, the son of Vahed and a resident of Khash.
Sources from the report that Ehsan had been handed over to judicial authorities by the elders of his tribe as a self-introduced suspect in a murder case nearly two years ago. During the judicial process, he was sentenced to death.
