
According to a report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in the Khajeh-Douchahi area of Nehbandan County, a Baloch teenager was killed and another was severely injured when military forces opened fire without warning or order to stop at four Baloch motorcycle-riding teenagers on a dirt road near the village.
The deceased teenager has been identified as Navid Zarouei Baloch (Zarouzehi) an 18-year-old son of Nabi, and the injured teenager as Mehran Zarouzehi an 18-year-old son of Abdolsamad, both residents of Khajeh-Douchahi in Nehbandan County.
It is worth mentioning that the four teenagers were riding two motorcycles without carrying or transporting any suspicious or illegal goods and were simply traveling on a rural dirt road near their residence when they were targeted by gunfire from military forces without prior warning. A bullet struck Navid Zarouei in the chest, resulting in his death, while another teenager was seriously injured after being shot in the back and was transferred to a hospital.
At the time of this report, military forces and responsible authorities have not reacted to the shooting or the killing of the teenager.
