According to a report by the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Wednesday, May 14, 2024, a 14-year-old Baloch child was violently arrested without a judicial warrant by intelligence forces in the village of Nasirabad, Sarbaz County.

The child has been identified as Saleh Bahramzehi, 14, son of Molavi Habib-ur-Rehman, a resident of Nasirabad in Sarbaz County.

The report states that on Wednesday afternoon, plainclothes intelligence forces arrested Saleh while he was playing with his peers in the village. They did not present an arrest warrant or inform him of the charges against him. The agents violently detained him, blindfolded him, forced him into the trunk of their vehicle, and took him to Rask.

It is worth noting that Qassim Bahramzehi, Saleh’s older brother, was killed on November 9, 2023, during clashes with the “Martyrs of Security” military convoy in Rask County. Following the incident, Jaish al-Adl (Army of Justice) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that its fighters had targeted the convoy, resulting in several casualties. Additionally, Saleh’s uncle, Ayoub Bahramzehi, was among 16 Baloch prisoners who were controversially executed in 2013 on charges of “cooperating with anti-regime groups” under the order of Mohammad Marzieh, then-prosecutor of Zahedan.
