According to the Baloch Human Rights Group, on Monday, April 1st, 2025, security forces from the Ministry of Intelligence raided the Kishkor area in Sarbaz County, using several military and civilian vehicles. They arrested a Baloch citizen and transferred him to an unknown location.
The identity of the arrested individual has been reported as Halim Reisi, son of Hossein, married, and from the Khushnak village in the Kishkor district of Sarbaz County.
According to sources, he was working with two others in their agricultural land in the Matkor River area, near Khushnak village, when several vehicles belonging to the Ministry of Intelligence suddenly arrived and detained all three individuals. The security forces freed Halim’s two companions along the way, but took him with them.
There is no information regarding the reason for his arrest or the charges against him. Meanwhile, over the past year, the arrest of Baloch citizens in Sarbaz and Rask counties has seen a worrying increase. Such actions, carried out without any explanation and in unclear circumstances, have heightened concerns among families and increased pressure on the Baloch people.
