According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, plainclothes officers from the IRGC Intelligence forces raided a house in the Nezhenj neighborhood of the Korsar district, a subdivision of Qasr-e Qand city. They violently arrested three Baloch citizens and transferred them to Nikshahr. After several hours of interrogation, two of the detainees were released, while the third individual was transferred to Zahedan.

The identities of the three Baloch citizens have been reported as follows:

  • Alam Azizi, approximately 36 years old, son of Gholam Rasool, from Azizabad village.
  • Saeed Azizi, approximately 40 years old, son of Abdul Rahim, from Gehjan village.
  • Javid Kadkhodaei, approximately 33 years old, son of Mohammad (Faqir Mohammad), from Bog village.

All three detainees are from areas within Qasr-e Qand County.

The plainclothes IRGC Intelligence forces stormed the house around noon with multiple vehicles, without presenting a judicial warrant. They arrested the three Baloch citizens with physical violence. Saeed Azizi and Javid Kadkhodaei were released after being taken to Nikshahr and undergoing several hours of interrogation. However, Alam Azizi was transferred to Zahedan.

It is noteworthy that Alam Azizi had previously been arrested by IRGC Intelligence in 2018 on charges of “propaganda against the regime” while he was a university student studying architecture at Chabahar University and a member of the Azizabad village council. He was released on bail after 45 days in Zahedan Central Prison.

As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests or any possible charges against the detainees. The lack of transparency from security institutions and the absence of official explanations regarding such arrests have heightened concerns about the continued repression and security pressures on Baloch citizens.
