After 96 days of uncertainty, the bodies of *Mohammad Raisi, Navid Parki, Saleh Parki, and *Zahid Parki were handed over to their families. These individuals were shot by security forces at the entrance of Saravan on November 1, 2024, and had been missing for over three months.

Despite no explanation from authorities about their fate, their families had been desperately searching for them since the day of the incident, with all attempts to obtain information from security and judicial bodies remaining unanswered. The bodies were finally returned to their families without any explanation.

Security officials gave contradictory statements during this period. Some accused them of being members of armed groups, while others claimed drugs were found in their vehicle. These conflicting statements have further confused and raised concerns for the families and human rights organizations.

This incident once again highlights growing concerns about human rights violations and enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Unanswered questions regarding the reasons for the killings of these four Baloch citizens and the lack of accountability from authorities expose further oppressive practices in the region.

While authorities have yet to provide a clear explanation for the killings, the handover of the bodies to their families without prior notice serves as another stark reminder of the ongoing human rights abuses and disregard for citizens’ rights in the region.
