On January 6, 2025, a Baloch citizen named Jalil Gamshadzahi, approximately 19 years old and the son of Emanullah, lost his life after being shot by military forces while driving his vehicle in Jalagh County.
According to local sources, the incident occurred in the Mashkid region, where military forces opened fire on the citizen’s vehicle without prior warning. As a result of the shooting, Jalil Gamshadzahi was fatally struck by bullets.
Based on statistics collected in 2023, direct shootings by military forces have caused at least 120 Baloch citizens to be killed or injured. Among these, 80 people lost their lives, and 40 others were wounded. Among the victims are 9 children and 3 women.
