On December 22, 2024, Sepah Sajad forces (IRGC) raided a house in Shamsabad, a village in the Chah-Shahi area of Saravan County, opening fire. As a result, at least one Baloch citizen was killed, and two others were injured and subsequently arrested.
The identity of the deceased citizen has been confirmed as Rahim Khakizehi, 33 years old, son of Gol-Mohammad, married, and a father. The two injured and detained individuals are Ali Khakizehi, 27 years old, son of Lal-Bakhsh, married, and Amin Khakizehi, approximately 26 years old, son of Rahim.
Reports indicate that Sepah Sajad Operational Base forces (IRGC) launched the raid in an attempt to arrest several armed individuals who were wanted. During the operation, one individual was killed on the spot due to gunfire, and two others were injured, arrested, and transferred to an undisclosed location.
It is said that Rahim had been in hiding for about six years after a confrontation with military forces, during which at least ten of his family members and relatives, including his two brothers, Lal-Bakhsh and Amin Khakizehi, were killed by the military. Since then, Rahim had been living a fugitive life.
