On the evening of Monday, October 21, 2024, several armed individuals stormed the home of a Sunni Baloch cleric in the old garage area of Zahedan and forcibly abducted him using an unlicensed vehicle.
The identity of the 65-year-old cleric has been reported as “Seyyed Hossein Khanezarin (Narouei).” He is a resident of Zahedan, married, and has six children.
According to the report, four armed individuals carrying cold and firearms entered his home and forcibly took him into their car. There is no information available about his fate, and the identities and motives of the abductors remain unknown.
