On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, military forces pursued a vehicle, stopping it in front of a herbal medicine shop in the village of Belinki, located in Chabahar County. Following the chase, the forces opened fire and launched an RPG at the shop, leading to a deadly incident. Three people, including two teenagers named Shahab Jadgal and Amer Ramesh, were killed. Additionally, Shoaib Jadgal and Hamed Jadgal were critically injured by gunfire and transferred to the hospital.

The identity of one of the other victims, who was a passenger in the vehicle, remains unknown.

The confrontation began after the vehicle being pursued by military forces stopped in front of the shop, and the passengers sought refuge nearby. Initially, the military forces fired at the shop using AK-47 rifles and handguns, then escalated the attack by launching an RPG inside.

After the incident, security forces blocked roads leading to the area and restricted the movement of passing vehicles.

State media claimed the operation targeted members of the armed group “Jaish al-Adl,” reporting that three people were killed and several others arrested. However, the group has not yet responded, and based on available evidence, the victims were local teenagers from Belinki village with no connection to the group.

This event highlights ongoing human rights violations against the Baloch people in Iran. This minority group faces constant political, social, and economic pressures, and incidents like this only deepen the systemic injustice and violence against them.
