Two Baloch teenagers, Wahid Darazahi (17) and Naveed Darazahi (18), were shot and killed by direct fire from border security forces on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in the “Doraj Ap” area of Saravan County. The two teenagers, who were from the village of Ziarat, had gone to check on their family’s orchards and farmland near the border. While returning on foot at around 2:50 PM, they were shot without warning by the border forces and died after being hit by several bullets.

Their bodies have been transferred to Saravan’s morgue and, as of the time of this report, have not been handed over to their families. Unfortunately, this tragic event is part of a pattern of shootings that has taken place throughout 2023, where at least 120 Baloch citizens have been killed or injured by direct military fire. Among them, 80 have lost their lives, and 40 have been injured, including 9 children and 3 women.
