On September 11 and 12, 2024, dozens of residential homes in Hoot Abad, Kumb, were demolished by housing foundation forces and the #IRGC, using bulldozers and heavy machinery to seize the land.

A local resident said: “This is the condition of Baloch people in their homeland. The government forcibly seizes our land with threats, giving it to non-local settlers.”

These demolitions are part of the “Makoran Coastal Development Plan,” which leads to the forced displacement of locals and the settlement of non-Baloch citizens.

🔻 The destruction of homes in other villages around Chabahar is still ongoing.

These actions are a clear violation of human rights. The right to housing, security, and living in one’s homeland are fundamental human rights being violated in Balochistan. Forced displacement and land confiscation without consent are blatant examples of human rights violations.
