According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, early this morning, Sunday, August 4, 2024, officers from the Natural Resources Department, accompanied by military forces, raided the Mirabad neighborhoods in Chabahar and demolished dozens of homes belonging to Baloch citizens.

This report states that around 2:00 AM, dozens of natural resources and military forces, using several personal and organizational vehicles, raided the Mirabad area of Chabahar. They forcibly removed the residents from their homes and used bulldozers, sledgehammers, and pickaxes to demolish approximately 80 houses.

Based on received reports, throughout 2023, various security and governmental agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran have demolished homes and seized land from people in at least 21 instances across five cities in Baloch areas. The majority of these actions took place in Chabahar with eight instances and Zahedan with seven instances.
