According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, border forces in the Kalagan area of Saravan County arrested and beat a Baloch fuel carrier named Ahmad Molazahi.
The report states that Ahmad, who was returning without any fuel, was ambushed by the border forces, arrested, and beaten with chains and whips before being released.
It is noteworthy that in 2023, at least 321 fuel carriers were killed or injured in various incidents, including direct shootings by military forces, road accidents, shootings by unknown armed individuals, floods, and fires.
