According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the evening of Saturday, June 1, 2024, a Baloch citizen was killed following a direct and indiscriminate military shooting during a car chase by the security forces of Mehristan County in the village of Kohan Molla.

The identity of this Baloch citizen has been confirmed as Parviz Parki, 26 years old, son of Abdulmalek, married, and a resident of the village of Kournahot in the Heydouch district of Sib and Soran County.

According to reports, on Saturday evening, Parviz left Mehristan in his car and was pursued by two security force vehicles. After a distance, he was severely injured by gunfire from the military forces in the village of Kohan Molla and subsequently lost his life.

It is noteworthy that after this citizen was killed, the military forces transferred his body to Saravan, and on Sunday, June 2, his family and relatives received his remains.

Based on reports collected in 2023, direct shootings by military forces have resulted in at least 120 Baloch citizens being killed or injured. Of this number, 80 have lost their lives, and 40 have been injured, among whom there are 9 children and 3 women.
