According to the Balochistan Human Rights Group, yesterday on April 25, 2024, around 12:30, shooting by coast guards in Kangan, located in Minab County, led to the killing of a Baloch citizen.

The identity of this citizen, “Mousa Mallahi,” a 26-year-old resident of Kangan, affiliated with Minab County, has been reported.

According to this report, coast guards shot at several small fishing boats, resulting in Mousa losing his life from a bullet wound.

It is said that military personnel, after realizing this citizen had been shot and lost his life, fled the scene, and Mousa’s companions brought his body ashore.

It is worth mentioning that according to the annually compiled report, in 2023, at least 321 Baloch citizens were killed or injured in direct shootings by military forces, road accidents, shootings by unidentified armed individuals, floods, and wildfires.
