On January 29, 2023, housing foundation forces, accompanied by military personnel, raided the village of Allahabad, located 8 kilometers from Zahedan, and demolished a residential house belonging to Baloch citizens without presenting a judicial order.
According to the report, around 11 AM, these forces, with four vehicles of the housing foundation and military personnel, stormed the village, destructing a residential property where the residents have been residing for years, and it holds their ancestral lands. They used sledgehammers and crowbars for the demolition.
It is noteworthy that following the destruction of this house, the inhabitants are facing serious difficulties in the cold weather of the region.
It should be mentioned that throughout the year 2023, based on received reports, various security and governmental institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran have demolished 21 homes and seized people’s lands in at least five cities in the Baloch regions. Most of these actions occurred in Chabahar with eight cases and Zahedan with seven cases.
