Detention of Baloch Artist Wasim Ali Baloch, by Security Forces in Chabahar

On January 22, 2024, security forces detained a Baloch artist in the city of Chabahar, transferring him to an undisclosed location, as reported by the Baluchistan Human Rights Group. The individual, identified as “Wasim Ali Baloch,” son of Ali Mohammad and a resident of Chabahar, is a renowned musician and singer in Balochistan who has performed numerous Balochi songs in recent years.
