According to a report from the Balochistan Human Rights Group, on the morning of Saturday, October 21, 2023, a Baloch citizen imprisoned in Isfahan, Iran, was executed by judicial authorities and the prison in this city.
The identity of this Baloch citizen, “Davood Jalali,” 37 years old, son of Eid Mohammad, married with three children, and a resident of Salehabad in city of Sarahks has been disclosed.
According to this report, Davood was arrested in Isfahan in the year 2019 on charges related to narcotics. After several years of imprisonment, he was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of this city.
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, he was transferred from the public ward of Isfahan Prison to solitary confinement for the execution of his sentence.
This incident represents a grave violation of human rights against the Baloch people by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
