Abdul Ghani Arbabi’s execution on August 13, 2023, in Zahedan prison for alleged drug-related charges, took place without notifying his family or granting them a final visit, as reported by Balochistan Human Rights.

Aged 48, Abdul Ghani, son of Abdul Wahab, was married and had a young child. Hailing from the Shastoon (Saravan) district, he was detained in Kermanj and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of the city.

This tragic incident underscores a distressing instance of human rights violation in Balochistan, attributed to the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
