According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, today morning , 24th December 2022, the death sentence of at least two Baloch prisoners was executed in Zahedan Central Prison due to murder charges.
According to an informed source; The identity of these two prisoners, “Ayoub Rigi”, 37 years old, son of Dad Mohammad, married and resident of Zahedan, and “Ilyas Raisi”, 28 years old, son of Ayaz, resident of Jalk Saravan, have been confirmed.
The source added: “Ayoub was arrested in 2019 on charges of murder on the way from Zahedan to Kerman and was sentenced to death by the Zahedan Criminal Court.”
Elias was also arrested in 2020 on charges of murder and sentenced to death by the Zahedan Criminal Court.
It should be mentioned that Ayoub and Elias were sent to solitary confinement in Zahedan prison on December 16th , 2022, and today their death sentence was executed.
It should be noted that at the same time as nationwide protests in the country during the last 120 days from August 14, 2022 to December 24th , 2022, 85 Baloch citizens have been executed in various prisons of the country, which is the number of people who have been authenticated, which is the concern of human rights activists and organizations.
