According to Balochistan Human Rights Group, Omid Kashani is one of the detainees of the Zahedan protests who was arrested and subjected to severe torture by intelligence forces on October 05th , 2022.
“Omid Kashani (original)” is a 26-year-old son of a poor resident of Karimabad area of ​​Zahedan, who is engaged in fuel delivery.
According to an informed source, “Omid was arrested by the intelligence forces on the 13th of October while driving a car carrying fuel at the exit of Zahedan city and was taken to an unknown place and severely tortured.”
The source added: “Amid is the brother of Saeed Kashani and Dost Hossein Kashani, who were arrested on October 05th in Zahedan and are now in Ward (2) of Zahedan Central Prison.”
